Chicago Cultural Alliance presents:  MOSAIC 2012

Our annual fundraiser, MOSAIC 2012, offers guests a unique cross-cultural experience showcasing the best of Chicago neighborhoods through a unique sensorial event. Through the tastes and aromas of international cuisine, sounds of old and new world music, and artistic expressions of local and international artisans and performers, MOSAIC transports guests through Chicago’s magnificent ethnic neighborhoods.

Now in its third year, this popular event has moved to a larger venue, the Chicago History Museum, to accommodate its growing audience. Gary T. Johnson, President of the Chicago History Museum and President of Museums in the Park, will be the keynote speaker. The festivities begin with a cocktail hour, where guests enjoy performances by ethnic artists and bid on silent auction items, featuring an array of internationally inspired treats and keepsakes. The Taste of the World dinner offers a sampling of foods representing the Alliance’s Core Member communities. The evening concludes with an awards ceremony honoring two community leaders and recognizing the contributions of a Chicago cultural champion.
