Experience Chicago through the Bronzeville Art and History Bus Tour!
First we will visit the Bronzeville Historical Society to hear the personal stories of African Americans in Chicago from the Civil War to the Great Migration. Then we will travel to the South Side Community Art Center, a cultural gem in Bronzeville that was the first black art museum in the United States and is the last remaining W.P.A. art center. We will explore this historic building and its artwork and taste the southern cooking this community brought to Chicago.
